Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Here at The Australian College of Financial Advisers, we are committed to helping all financial advisers meet their obligations under the FASEA Code of Ethics. Under Standard 10 of the Code, financial advisers must develop, maintain, and apply a high level of relevant knowledge and skills. Under the Corporations (Relevant Providers Continuing Professional Development Standard) Determination 2018, financial advisers must perform 40 hours of CPD per year.

The Australian College of Financial Advisers is proud to partner with the Financial Planning Association of Australia to offer financial advisers CPD points for undertaking their study guides and the Financial Adviser Exam preparatory online courses.

The Financial Adviser Exam Study Guides and Online Course meets the guidelines for qualifying CPD, and has been accredited for continuing professional development by the Financial Planning Association of Australia but does not constitute FPA’s endorsement of the activity.

The accredited CPD allocation is outlined below.
